Bio

Nick Fury born in Hyde Park, Chicago Illinois. Studied at the School of the Art Institute Chicago, received a Graphic Design degree from the American Academy of Art and a BFA from Columbia College Chicago.

 

His work is predominantly based from CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) subcultural experiences to current events. Explores dynamics of the creative process to vertical integration in fashion. Interested in strict challenges to build creatively in architecture.

 

Currently the only artist that uses correction tape as a medium since 2002.

 

Articles have been written about his artwork in various publications. Designed a watch for Swatch Watch Inc. Given lectures for Chicago Public Schools, Claudia Cassidy Theater, and PechaKucha. Displayed artwork in the notable Paint Paste Sticker exhibition at the Chicago Cultural Center. Chicago Artist Month 2014 featured artist. Victorian Graffics Project exhibited on CTA Ashland/Lake Historic Train Station. Accepted in the Museum of Science and Industry Black Creativity 2015 Exhibition. Crimson Sky, The Buildings That Survived The Great Chicago Fire 1871 project exhibited at the Chicago History Museum.
